Safe Mobility 4 all and 4 life platform (the “Platform”) is an educational platform managed by Unitar (“Implementing Partner”) at the initiative and under the lead of the Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile (“Programme Manager”). This Privacy Notice explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data when you use our Platform. The Programme Manager and the Implementing Partner, act as Joint Controller, (together the Joint Controllers, “We”, “Us”).

When you register on the Platform, we collect the following personal information: 

  • First Name 
  • Last Name 
  • Gender 
  • Nationality 
  • Affiliated Organization 
  • Training history 

     

In addition, if you choose to contact us via the Platform’s contact link, we will collect and process your email address and any other information you provide in your message. 

  1. Purpose of Data Collection and Legal Basis for Processing

We collect and use your personal data for the following purposes: 

  • To manage your accounts and participation to the trainings: We use your name, surname, gender, nationality to grant you access to Platform resources. The legal basis for this processing is the performance of a contract (i.e., the Terms and Conditions of the Platform) 
  • To provide support and respond to inquiries: If you contact us through the contact link, we use your email address and the information provided in your message to respond to your inquiries. The legal basis for this processing is the legitimate interest of providing effective communication and support for Platform users.

     

  1. Data Sharing and Sub-Processing
  • Third-Party Service Providers: In some cases, we may use third-party providers to assist with Platform operations (e.g., hosting providers or communication tools). These providers may access your data solely for the purpose of assisting with Platform functionalities and are bound by confidentiality and data protection obligations. 

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with any third parties for marketing purposes.
