Terms and Conditions

- Overview
These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the Safe Mobility 4 All and 4 Life platform (the “Platform”), an online and in-person learning platform managed by The United Nations Institude for Training and Research (UNITAR, the “Implementing Partner”) at the initiative and under the lead of the Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile (“Programme Manager”) and with the support of the FIA Foundation. By using the Platform, users agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions. Access to the Platform is exclusively available to representatives of FIA members and local authorities (the “Participants”).
UNITAR, FIA and FIA Foundation will be hereinafter referred to together as the “Partners”.
- Platform Purpose
The Platform is designed to provide the Participants with educational content, including online training modules to support their professional and personal development.
- Eligibility
Access to the Platform is restricted to the Participants, as selected by the Partners.
- Roles and Responsibilities
- Partners: The Partners validates and oversees the design, content, and quality of the training programs offered on the Platform.
- Implementing Partner: The Implementing Partner is responsible for the technical development, operation, coordination of content and maintenance of the Platform. The Implementing Partner ensures the Platform’s availability and addresses technical issues that may arise.
- Account Registration and Security
Participants are required to register on the Platform. Participants must maintain the confidentiality of their account credentials and notify the Programme Manager immediately of any unauthorized access or use.
- Intellectual Property
All content on the Platform, including text, graphics, logos, videos, and software, is the intellectual property of the Programme Manager and is protected by copyright laws. Participants are permitted to access and use the content for personal and educational purposes only. Redistribution, modification, or commercial use of the Platform’s content is prohibited without express written consent from the Program Manager.
- Participant Conduct
Participants agree to use the Platform in a manner consistent with the goals of the training program. Prohibited activities include:
- Sharing or redistributing Platform content outside the Platform.
- Engaging in any form of harassment, abusive behavior, or disruptive conduct.
- Uploading any unauthorized or harmful content, including viruses or malicious software.
The Partners reserves the right to remove or restrict any user engaging in prohibited conduct.
- Privacy and Data Protection
Participants’ data collected on the Platform will be handled in compliance with applicable data protection laws. For more information about how personal data will be processed, please refer to the Platform Privacy Notice (https://event.unitar.org/data-protection-and-privacy-policy).
- Limitation of Liability
The Platform is provided on an “as-is” basis. While the Programme Manager and Implementing Partner strive to provide high-quality content and reliable service, they make no guarantees regarding the accuracy, completeness, or uninterrupted availability of the Platform.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Programme Manager and Implementing Partner disclaim liability for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the Platform, including any errors or omissions in the content or technical issues.
The Partners shall not be held responsible for the content, accuracy, or completeness of the training materials provided. Participants should not rely solely on the information presented during the training sessions to make decisions.
Any decisions, actions, or omissions made based on the content of the training are the sole responsibility of the Participants.
- Amendments
The Partners reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Participants will be notified of any significant changes via the Platform or email. Continued use of the Platform following any amendments constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms and Conditions.
- Termination
The Programme Manager reserves the right to terminate access to the Platform for any Participant who breaches these Terms and Conditions.
- Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of France. Any dispute arising from or in connection with this Agreement shall be submitted to the courts of Paris for final settlement.
